Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book an appointment?

Message us on WhatsApp at +965 2220 4200 or call 22204200. Our team will find a suitable time with the right doctor for your concern.

What are your working hours?

For our working hours and appointments, please contact the clinic or check our up-to-date working hours on Google Maps.

Where is the clinic, and how do I get there?

Al-Messilah Medical Tower B, 12th Floor, Bneid Al-Qar, Kuwait. You can find directions on Google Maps by searching for "Prime Vision Clinic". If you need help reaching the clinic, please contact us before your visit.

Do you accept health insurance?

Please contact the clinic to check whether your insurance company is accepted and what is covered. Coverage varies with the policy, the service and any approval required. Services that are not covered may be provided at the private self-pay rate, after you have been informed and have agreed.

How much does a consultation or procedure cost?

The consultation fee is explained when you book. The costs of any tests or procedures are explained to you before they are carried out. The cost of surgery is discussed after your assessment, once the doctor knows which treatment suits you.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Please contact our reception team to ask about the payment methods available.

Do you see children?

Please contact the clinic so that we can arrange a suitable appointment and doctor based on your child's age and condition.

How long will my visit take, and can I drive afterwards?

Please allow extra time: a full eye examination takes longer than a standard consultation, because some tests and the dilating drops need time to work. Dilating drops blur vision for several hours, so we recommend that someone else drives you home.

What should I bring?

Your Civil ID, your insurance card if you have one, your current glasses and contact lens details, a list of your medications, and any previous eye reports or scans. If you are being assessed for LASIK or ICL, the medical team will tell you how long beforehand to stop wearing contact lenses; for some lens types this can be several weeks.

What should I do in an eye emergency?

  • Chemical splash: rinse the eye immediately with clean running water for at least 20 minutes, holding the eyelids open, and seek emergency care. Do not delay rinsing to travel or to call.
  • Penetrating injury or an object stuck in the eye: do not rinse the eye, do not press on it or rub it, and do not try to remove the object. Go to the nearest emergency department immediately or call 112.
  • Sudden loss of vision, severe eye pain, or worsening vision, pain or redness after an eye procedure or injection: seek urgent assessment straight away. Call the clinic or go to the nearest emergency department, and do not wait for a reply to a WhatsApp message.
